Hybrid System Recovery · SME Control Unit BMW ActiveHybrid 5 F10 — SME Software Fault Resolution

This BMW ActiveHybrid 5 (F10) arrived at BavELab from another workshop, where the high-voltage battery had been removed, manually charged and balanced. Despite completing that work, the workshop was unable to start the hybrid system.

The remaining issue was a software-related fault affecting the SME control unit. BavELab resolved the fault, after which the hybrid system started successfully and was restored to operation.
