How remote installation works

Request. Send us your VIN and email address. We check your vehicle and agree on the scope of work, price and estimated duration.
Payment and booking. You receive a personal payment link. Once payment is complete, we arrange a time for the remote session.
Remote session. Prepare your vehicle and computer according to our instructions. We carry out the agreed programming and diagnostic checks.

What you need to know

This service changes the software settings of existing systems. The factory M5 CS also differs in its mechanical components and weight, so its characteristics cannot be fully replicated through software alone.

If your engine or transmission software has already been modified, please let us know in advance. We check compatibility with existing tuning separately. We discuss the expected changes based on your vehicle and the agreed scope of work.

Full package for compatible F90 LCI models

Engine (DME) (LCI only) — M5 CS engine management calibrations.
Transmission (LCI only) — shift settings for the eight-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission.
Steering (EPS) — settings for the electric power steering.
Active M Differential (LCI only) — settings that control rear differential locking.
Adaptive suspension (EDC) — settings for electronic damper control.

We install compatible CS settings for the systems listed above. After programming, we carry out diagnostic checks on the affected control units.

For compatible F90 LCI models, you can request individual settings, such as an engine flash alone or a package without the engine flash. Send your VIN and requirements through the Custom Remote Service card. We will check availability and agree on the scope and price.

BMW M5 / M5 Competition F90 LCI (facelift): the full package covers the engine, transmission, steering, Active M Differential and adaptive suspension.

BMW M5 / M5 Competition F90 (pre-facelift): availability of steering and adaptive suspension settings is checked individually.

We check the VIN, installed control units and software version. We may also request diagnostic data. The year of registration alone does not determine compatibility.

An ENET cable and a computer with an Ethernet port or a suitable adapter.
A stable internet connection and a power supply for the computer.
A stabilised vehicle power supply suitable for programming.
Remote access set up according to the agreed instructions.
